KNITTING
There are so many wonderful patterns to knit. However, if you have not knitted a garment before, choosing the right yarn and correct needles in order to end up with a garment that fits and one you’ll love, can be tricky.
In Pattern Prep , I will be looking at the key areas for preparing for a pattern, before you cast on.
KAL (knit-along) course
For the New Year, for more experienced knitters, I will be revisiting one of my favourite KAL projects, Cardoon a stunning colour-work jumper.
Bella Scarf, for ‘improvers knitting’ a beautiful combination of cable and mock cable slip stitches, edged with a simple i-cord stitch border.
CROCHET
Always wanted to learn how to crochet but not sure where to begin? My ever popular Granny Squares Pin Cushion mini course will teach you everything you need to know to start you on your crochet journey.
Ripple Stitch Pouch uses a combination of different crochet stitches for creating beautiful textural impact and is made with just one ball of wool.
If you have just started to crochet, this is a perfect beginners follow-on project to make in a quiet morning or afternoon.
