For those who have had no experience of crochet before or anyone who wants to be able to make this vintage classic,  the building block of so many crochet patterns.

In this 2 part project-based Beginners Course you will learn everything you need to know to get started aswell as providing you with a kit giving you everything you need to make your first crochet project ~ a cute Granny Squares Pin Cushion. 

In the first week you will learn all the basics and in the follow up session you will have the chance to work on and practise anything that you might have found tricky.

I will also demonstrate further techniques to help your crochet develop with confidence.

Week 1: Beginner Basics ~

• how to hold the hook.
• how to make a foundation chain.
• slip stitch.
• Treble crochet (Tr).
• to read simple pattern reading.

Week 2: Building on Beginner Basics ~

• how to begin your squares using the Magic Ring technique.
• how to add new colours with Standing Treble joining technique.
• ways of joining your 2 Granny Squares together

Pin Cushion Kit: 3 x small balls of cotton yarn (choice of colours), linen covered pin cushion pad, crochet hook, darning needle, pattern.

Cost of  2 x 2 hour course: £75
(All materials will be provided in the class)

The class sizes are small (maximum 5 people) and fill up quickly!
