If you have always wanted to learn how to crochet, this Beginners session is a great way to have a go!

In this 2.5 hour session I will show you how to hold the hook & yarn, make a chain and work a slip stitch, double crochet and treble crochet stitches.

Learning and practicing these 3 key stitches will enable you to begin your crochet journey….

 

 

With these crochet stitches, we will also look at how to add a contrasting coloured yarn and work through a simple pattern bringing  all these techniques together.

Following the workshop I will email you a Beginners Crochet Basics worksheet with links to my video tutorials which you can watch in your own time and work through at your own pace.

To keep things simple, all materials will be provided in the workshop,

• 2 x balls of wool
• crochet hook
• tapestry needle to darn in ends
• worksheet & pattern

This workshop will be given in The Colour Factory, a creative hub in the centre of Winchester, home to seven resident artists.
