For those who have learnt the basics of knitting, this workshop explores how by simply combining 2 stitches, Knit and Purl, you can add wonderful textural details into your knitting.

Lined with cotton fabric and finished off with a single button, the Bramble Stitch pouch is perfect to carry your sewing bits and pieces or to use as a pretty purse.

By combining two yarns together as you knit, you can can create a lovely marled effect with you finished knitted fabric. For this project, I have combined Baby Bamboo by Sirdar, a bamboo/wool DK yarn alongside Scheepjes Stoned Washed a mottled cotton mix yarn.

Cost for 2.5 hour class: £65 includes all materials tea, coffee & delicious homemade cake.

Bramble Stitch Pouch Kit £35: 2 x 50gm balls of yarn  (choice of colours), wooden knitting needles, fabric for lining, 1 button, darning needle and pattern.

Of course if you would prefer to bring your own yarn and materials just choose the option when booking.

The class sizes are small (maximum 5 people) and fill up quickly!
