Crochet Kids Club is for anyone aged 8-13 who would love to crochet!

COST:  £60

(3 x 1 hr sessions with all materials included)

To begin, all you need is some yarn and a hook.

Over a series of 3 x 1 hour sessions you will learn step-by-step all the basics to begin your crochet journey,

• how to hold the hook & yarn,
• make a chain
• learn how to do the important basic stitches (sl st, Dc, Tr)
• changing colours
• begin to read a simple pattern.

To keep things simple, all materials will be provided for making your 1st crochet project – Boho Bunting, a cute string of flowers (or stars) and ‘Granny’ Squares,

• 3 x balls of wool (choice of colours)
• crochet hook
• tapestry needle to darn in ends
• worksheet & pattern

NB: The Clubs are spaced out fortnightly, so there is time in-between for a bit of homework and to practice the stitches.

This workshop will be given in The Colour Factory, a creative hub in the centre of Winchester, home to seven resident artists.
