The Welsh term ‘Cwtch’ (rhymes with ‘butch’) was a favourite word used by my Welsh Granny Mary when describing a cuddle or hug. It felt the perfect word to describe beautiful cosy pieces to make for your home.
As part of my Cwtch Homewares, I have designed Cwtch Cosy as a great little project to enjoy making in a quiet afternoon. Knitted in chunky yarn and using a combination of simple aran stitches, Cwtch cosy is a great way of learning how to work with cabling.
To begin, you will be knitting the two matching aran pieces from the base up, working back and forth, before joining in the round to shape and complete the top section of the tea cosy.
Alongside the pattern you will be given a link the the Cwtch Cosy Playlist, with a couple of video tutorials showing you the different techniques for making this project.

Once I have received your PayPal payment I will email you a copy of the PDF pattern.
