A gorgeous cushion, knitted in chunky cotton yarn, for those who have already learnt the basics of knitting. This class explores how by combining 2 stitches, Knit and Purl, you can produce wonderful textural details into your work. The main feature on the cushion is a bold “Bramble” stitch which involves both increasing and decreasing in the same row. Sounds tricky, but with practice is easy and creates a chunky, bobble stitch.

Bramble Cushion uses the same chunky yarn as the Cabled Cushion and together they would make a gorgeous pair of contrasting cushions.

 

Bramble Cushion Kit; 1 x 100 gm ball of Chunky cotton yarn (choice of colours), wooden needles (size 6.5) cable needle, feather cushion pad, fabric for back of cushion (choice of fabrics) darning needle and pattern.

 

 

Cost for 3 hour class: £50 (includes all materials, tea, coffee and cake)
