Category: Knitting for Improvers
For those who have learnt the basics of knitting and want to develop their skills. Cables are a great way of adding wonderful texture and patterns to your knitting. They are made by swapping the order in which you knit stitches and by crossing one set of stitches over another. Knitting cables are much simpler to do than you might at first think and add fantastic textural and visual impact to your work.
In this class you learn the basics of cabling alongside already known stitches and start knitting a pair of beautifully cosy wrist warmers to take home to finish.
Cabled Wrist Warmers Kit:
50 gm ball of Aran yarn Rowan Kid Classic (choice of colours), wooden needles, large cable needle, darning needle and pattern.
Cost for 3 hour class: £50 includes all materials (Cabled Wrist Warmers Kit) tea, coffee and delicious homemade cake
Of course if you would prefer to bring your own yarn and materials just choose the option when booking.
