This chunky cushion was inspired by Carrie, who comes to the MiW Knit & Natter sessions. She was making a large, stripy blanket for winter, which I have scaled down to make into a cosy cushion cover.

The front and back of cover are made in one continuous piece, using treble crochet and worked in varying widths of stripes and colours. The sides are worked in double crochet to make a neat edging for sewing together.

Carrie’s Cushion Kit: 5 balls of chunky yarn ( choice of colours), size 6 hook, feather cushion pad, darning needle & pattern.

Cost of 3 hour Class: £45 includes all materials (Carrie’s Cushion Kit) tea, coffee and cake).

Of course if you would prefer to bring your own yarn and materials just choose the option when booking.
