There is nothing better than a squishy, soft chunky cowl to keep you warm on colder days.
This cabled cowl knitted in soft chunky yarn, is for those who have learnt the basics of knitting and want to learn the skill of cabling and combining different stitches for maximum impact.
Cables are easier than they may first appear and create wonderful textures and patterns. They are made by swapping the order in which you knit your stitches and by crossing one set over another. This project is a great introduction to the first steps of cabling techniques.
The cowl is knitted in Drops Andes a gorgeous combination of 65% wool and 35% Alpaca. The finished cowl measures approximately width 20 cms/ length 25 cms.
