Category: Crochet for Improvers

This workshop is for those who have learnt the beginner basics and want to develop their crochet skills further.

Once you start making them they become slightly addictive! …

Exploring new stitches and playing with different colour yarn combinations.

The origins of the name Mandala comes from the Sanskrit word for circle and is a spiritual symbol representing the ideal form of the universe.  Mandala patterns all begin in the centre and radiate out as the designs grow larger.

With this pretty Mandala pattern, we will also be looking at ways of combining and changing colours for visual impact to make a crochet piece ready to frame, use as a table decoration, coaster or sew onto a cushion or bag.

Cost of 3 hour Class: £65 includes all materials (Mandala Frame Kit) tea, coffee and delicious homemade cake.

~ Mandala Frame Kit: 5 x small balls of cotton yarns (choice of colours), 3mm crochet hook, frame, backing paper & mounting materials and detailed pattern.

Of course if you would prefer to bring your own yarn and materials just choose the option when booking.

“The class was a delightful afternoon of creative fun and camaraderie… It was particularly gratifying to be able to complete a beautiful piece of work within a relatively short time.  I can highly recommend this class!”
