Fair Isle knitting isn’t as difficult as it looks. If you are comfortable using knit and purl,  you will be ready to learn this wonderful technique for adding colour into your knitting.

In this beginners workshop you will be knitting two swatches,

• A simple two-colour Fair Isle pattern

 

• A traditional Nordic star.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The two little swatches can then be sewn together to make a sweet Fair Isle sachet.

Fill with some lavender  or just hang it in your home for a Scandi touch.

Having been introduced to the basic fair isle techniques as well as learning to read from charts. you will now have the confidence to tackle a more complicated project such as the Fair Isle Frame class.

Scandi Swatch Kit includes: 2 x small ball of yarn (choice of colours), wooden knitting needles, darning needle, charts and pattern.

Cost for 3 hour class: £40 (includes all materials, tea, coffee & delicious homemade cake.)

Of course if you would prefer to bring your own yarn and materials just choose the option when booking.
