This 2 part project-based course is for those you have already picked up Beginner Basics and want to explore new techniques.

Cables are a wonderful way to add texture and interest to your crochet projects. If you’ve never crocheted a cable before, it can be a bit daunting but in this course you will be shown how you can create the twisted quality of a chunky cable and make this gorgeous Bucket or Crossbody Bag

Week 1: You will learn how to combine stitches (tr/htr/dc) to create the base section of your bag. Learn how to create cables by crossing front and back post stitches.

Week 2: Continue with the techniques you learnt in Week 1 as well as making the handle section of your bucket bag to complete.

The Bucket Bag is crocheted in Wendy with Wool Super Chunky which comes in a gorgeous range of colours. You can choose whether to crochet your bag in a single colour or choose a 2 -tone colour combination. When you have booked your place I will be send you a colour chart so that you can make your choice.

 

Cost for 2 x 3 hour class: £75 (Includes Bucket Bag Kit, coffee & tea and delicious homemade cake)

Bucket Bag Kit: 2 Balls x 100gms wool, crochet hook (size 7), magnetic fastener and detailed pattern.

I also have leather straps available to buy as an option.

Of course if you would prefer to bring your own yarn and materials just choose the option when booking.
