With cooler days approaching, there’s no better time to pick up a new skill and knit something cozy ready for autumn.
In this mini course, you’ll learn how to knit a simple hat in the round while mastering the Magic Loop technique — a versatile method for knitting small circumferences using a long circular needle.
This course is perfect for anyone who is comfortable with basic knitting skills and working knit and purl stitches.
SEP 14th – WEEK 1

Cast on using the long-tail cast on method and join in the round

Start using the Magic Loop technique
SEP 27th – WEEK 2

Shape the crown with basic decreases

Cast off and finish your hat
To keep things simple, all materials will be provided in the workshop,
YARN
- 1 x 50g ball KAOS Wool (choice of colours)
For this project I have chosen the beautifully soft KAOS Chunky Andean Wool made of 100% Peruvian highland wool in a range of beautiful colours to choose from.
NOTIONS
- 1 x size 5.5mm interchangeable needle
- 1 x size 6mm interchangeable needle
- 1 x circular needle wire
- tapestry needle for darning in ends
The class sizes are small (maximum 5 people) and fill up quickly.
