Oct 12th – Mini Sock
Knitting a Mini sock in Aran weight yarn is a perfect way to learn and work fairly quickly through each stage. In this 3 hour workshop you will be knitting this sweet mini sock, which uses all the beginner sock techniques.
OCT 19th – Iona Cuffs
If you are comfortable using knit and purl stitches , you will be ready to explore ways of adding colour into your knitting using Fair Isle, the traditional colour-work technique.
Nov 9th – Ripple Stitch Pouch
Ripple Stitch Pouch, uses a combination of different crochet stitches for creating beautiful textural impact and is made with just one ball of wool.
Sun 23rd Nov & Dec 7th (2 x 2.5 hour workshops) – Bella Beanie
If you have not tried working with cable stitches before, Bella Beanie is a perfect project to begin with. Surprisingly, knitting cables are quite simple to do and are made by swapping the order in which you knit stitches and by crossing one set of stitches over another.
